Wedding gift no. 4: Baby dungaree

Here's a baby shorts dungaree! ^^

I really love the yarn in this one. It was so much fun to work with 'cos it changes color all the time! It keeps the working very interesting :D My mum bought the yarn from Lidl, so it doesn't have any special brand (the package just says Sock Yarn, lol XD), but the material is 48% cotton, 39% wool and 13% polyamid. Crochet hook I used was 3mm.

The instructions I used are from a blog called Linda's Crafty Corner. It's a very nice craft blog! You should check it out ^^

I think I put too many buttons in the legs :D But oh well, at least they stay closed! XD (wait..... that sounded so wrong.............) AND. The teddy bear in the front was so hard to find -____-;; It was very hard to find ANY fun fabric patches that can be ironed. But in the end I found some, luckily.

Right now, I'm working on another dungaree, 'cos a friend ordered one from me ^^ I use the same yarn, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna use the same green on the edging, and also I have to find another patch with a boy-theme :D Thank God Jyväskylä has a very good selection in that case :D

Damn, it's been over a month since I've written here! Sorryyy >____< I've been very busy and tired and all kinds of shit, so I haven't found the energy to write, even though I have had many things to say/show you :D There was my sister's wedding, I have shopped and received new lovely stuff, and I can finally show you the baby crafts I made for my sister and her husband as a wedding gift! ^^ Also, my internship started this month and I've been to job interviews ^^

There's no way I'm gonna post all of those things this time, you'll get bored 'cos the post would be HUGE XD I haven't received all the pictures of the wedding, so I can't make a proper wedding post yet, but I have a couple of pictures to show you :D I know I promised to show you my whole outfit, but goddammit, I forgot to take pictures -______-;; I hope my father or the photographer have been good paparazzis then :DDD

hmmm, what else is new? Nothing much. I went to see my baby girls on Thursday, I had missed them so much ;;____;; They had not forgotten about me <3 When we took them outside, Ada was sitting on my lap almost all the time <3 Adele was also hiding inside my shirt every now and then :DD Also, my boyfriend visited me last weekend. It was nice <3 Except that I didn't sleep well at all 'cos my bed is too small for two people and I get agitated if someone is sleeping very close to me, even if it's my own bf XDD I NEED MY SPACE! @___@

On Saturday I went to sell some clothes to a rock N roll flea market! I have so many emo clothes that I don't wear anymore so I thought that this would be a good way to get rid of them. Well... it wasn't XD I only sold two CDs, one skirt and one shirt. The people there were mostly metal heads or 80's inspired rockers, so they didn't find any use for my clothes. But it's ok, I really enjoyed being there!! I just love selling clothes and advising people with them *-* Also, the flea market was open only for three hours, so maybe I could have sold more clothes if it had been open for the whole day. I earned 8€ !! XDDD epic. Actually, I earned 13€ but the selling table cost 5€ :D

After the flea market, me and my boyfriend went to Amarillo to eat. I just love that restaurant so much *___* Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the foods 'cos I was so goddamn hungry I just dig straight in XD But trust me, it was good. Whiskey corn for starters, garlic chicken with red wine sauce for main course, and nut-chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert <3 great, now I'm lusting for Amarillo's food again... .___.

Also, I've shopped again! oops :D I bought my bridesmaid-dress for my sister's wedding! I'm not gonna show it to you yet 'cos it haven't arrived. I ordered it from eBay, I hope they will ship me the right and fitting dress :DD I have always had good experiences with shopping on eBay, but you never know :DD We will see. Today I also bought a shitload of barbells for my tongue!!  I can't wait to get rid of this original barbell, it's so long @__@ It bothers me, big time. Argh.

The book has lots of important info about entrepreneurship and founding your own company, making your own business plan, pricing your products, risks, marketing, finance, insurances, taxes, accounting..... Everything you need to know about entrepreneurship! So, I'd better start reading it! :D Even though it will take about 1-2 years until I can start my own business.

I was checking my study credits the other day and I realised something that made me very glad: It may be that I will graduate in time after all!!! O_O At first, I thought I will graduate in spring 2015 because I was a bit left behind in my studies at one point. But seems like I have worked pretty hard this semester because if everything goes as planned, I will have A LOT of credits after summer! So maybe I can graduate at the same time as my friends, in spring 2014. Or at least on Christmas 2014! 

My plan is to start my own business as soon as I have graduated. I'm going to found a clothing shop of alternative fashion. At first I was sure I want to have this big clothing shop and an Internet store. But then I made these profitability calculations and the numbers were fucking SCARY. I would need a loan of 100 000 €, and if the shop doesn't pay off, I would be in a bankrupt veeery fast (which could be very possible for an alternative clothing shop). Not good. So, I talked about things with my boyfriend and a couple of his friends who are or have been entrepreneurs, and they all suggested that I would start with an Internet store only. I started thinking about this, and made the calculations again with this plan, and the numbers were a lot better. Instead of this 100 000 € monster loan I would "only" need a loan of 15-20 000 €. If the shop starts to pay off very well, I can always found the actual store later.

I was a bit sad though, because I really enjoy selling clothes to people face to face. With an internet store I can't do that. But oh well, I can always go to fairs and all kinds of happenings to sell my products ^^ Gahh, I wish I could graduate already... At the same time, I'm very scared and excited :D

yayyyy! I have finally finished the first product of my ETSY-SHOP!! A pink, Kawaii Kitty-scarf. Damn, it was a lot of work -___-;; 170 cm of thin acryl yarn with a small hook. Argh. I'm so happy it's finished :D

I think it turned out pretty cute :DDD I have been dreaming about selling my crafts to people for a while but I just haven't had the courage and the energy to make products. But now I have started to enjoy crocheting again, so I'm gonna make more products ^^ Many people have given me very nice comments about my crafts, and some people have told me that I should be selling these. So, now I will! :D

It's gonna be a bit challenge though... It's gonna take a long time until my shop is proper so people will find it and will be interested in my products. .....if they will >__< Oh well, I still want to try. All the shop policies and infos are still pretty lame and short, I will try to make them better soon. Actually, it's pretty hard for me to write shop policies and important infos @___@ Thank god Etsy has some Seller's Handbook to make the shop better :DD I will need it...

Chapter 44: No! I'm not giving up!!!

gaaahhh, it really bothers me that I haven't had the energy to write, because I have had a lot of things to share with you guys!! ;___; I have to keep going! I can do it!!! 

So, I'm still suffering from the allergy and yesterday I had to leave work 'cos I felt so terrible. The practical training has suffered a lot from my absence, but what can I do about it?? NOTHING. NONE of the medicins is helping 'cos my condition is so bad... fml... 

@___@ damn, I really have to dye my hair today....

Lol. This was what I looked like at work yesterday before I had to leave. Not during the customers though XD pfff. The picture may be funny but this is NOT funnyyyyyy. This is like a physical depression for my body. haha, you guys probably lose your nerves soon 'cos all I'm doing is whine about my allergy. Sorry! ;___;

btw, I read in the news that some university people have invented a vaccination for allergic people. I HAVE TO GET IT. It would be an answer to my prayers, seriously.... @___@ But since it has been just invented, it may take maaany years until it's actually ready and can be given to people.... damn. And with my luck, It's gonna be fucking expensive. But even if it is, I will save money for it! It wouldn't just heal me from pollen allergy, but also food allergies. I could eat all my favourite vegetables and fruits as much as I want *_____* Time. GO FASTER ;___;

But let's change the subject. What have I been doing during the last.... week? Well, last weekend I was in Tyrnävä, a small town in Northern Finland. It was my second cousin's graduation party. It was very lovely to see her and other relatives! It had been so long... @___@ It has been one year since I saw my grandmother and uncles, and TWO years since I saw Emppu ;____; I will try to go visit them again this summer with my dad so I can spend more time with all of them. A weekend is way too short >___< 

The party was very nice, but it sucked that it was raining the whole day :< Sooo, because we couldn't be outside, all of the guests were inside, which made the house very crowded XD oh well, it wasn't so bad :D

This trip means a lot to me because Joni's cousin and his family are the first people he introduces me to. I hope I'm gonna meet his parents soon as well :D Atleast I'm gonna introduce him to mine this summer. I was gonna introduce him to my cousin as well in Stockholm, but he got a very good job offer for June, so he's not able to go anywhere. I'm very happy that he got the offer, but of course it sucks a bit that he can't come with me to Stockholm :<

Yayyy, I'm also gonna see Petri, Mira, Mappu and Niko! ^^ I've missed theeeeem ;___;<3 And it's very important to me that Joni will meet my best friends, whether he likes them or not XDDD (He's not that social with people he doesn't know.....)

Bleh.. I have to go to the centre... I have to go to RockJet to buy some hair color and the handcuffs I've been drooling for ages. Now I'm gonna get them. mmmmmm <3 me likey. Gonna have some awesome sexytime 8D ....wait what? Too much information? sorry :D

Chapter 43: Fashion Shop

This week I've been working in my boss' other shop called Fashion Shop. He's in London for business with his son, so there's no one else to take care of the boutique so I'm here then ^^ (I'm jealous as fuck of the trip though... >___<!!! )

As you can see, the shop is pretty different from RockJet XD The clothes are mainly for older people, but there are a few clothes for young people as well. They never visit the shop though :DDD Or if they do, very seldom :D 

It has been ok to work here though, even though I'm not into serving old people :D Some of them look at me woth a very judging look -___-;; bleh, oh well, who cares. Of course there has been many nice customers as well! This is not new to me, I used to work in a shop called Korelia, in my hometown, and it's just like this shop and the customers are the same kind :D

lol, I'm such a good granddaughter! The clothes are VERY cheap in this shop, so I decided to buy a shirt for my grandmother 'cos I'm going to visit her and my other relatives this weekend. Can't wait! I've missed all the people there :< My uncles and my small cousins <3 

The shirt I bought, it cost royal 4,90€ :D I hope she likes it.

pfff... the truth is that I'm not a good granddaughter at all... So I'm trying to make it up for her. -____-;; By buying cheap clothes? fail. I never call her, and I visit her very seldom, once a year... I know I should call her more, I called her this week to tell that I'm coming over because of my cousin's graduation party, she was SO HAPPY 'cos I had called her myself. She always calls me, and sometimes I don't even answer. That's because I'm either busy, or just having a crappy day. She doesn't know about my depression... No one from my father's side does. but it's better that way. I know my grandma would burst to tears if she knew... @___@ 

Oh well, I know this weekend is gonna be awesome ^^ <3 And I'll try to get to visit her later this summer as well with my dad!

Chapter 37: Free stuff!

Today I was at work with my boss' wife. She was cleaning places and she found some stuff that weren't in sale anymore so she gave some for me :D yay!

Two bags! They're not so well made though -___-;; The material is almost like paper, if you put too much stuff in them they break immediately... :D But oh well, they're cute! I love the clothes of Queen of Darkness, I want to buy some of them for myself *__* I hadn't heard of that brand before my internship in RockJet to be honest o__O fail.

I hadn't heard about Celebrity Babe either :D We have some shirts on sale in RockJet and they're pretty cute. And the bag is just adorable!!! *___*

And then, I finally remembered to ask the price of a necklace I found from some random children's necklace stash a few weeks ago :DD Kirsti said: "nah, it costs nothing, just take it!" Awesome!!! and the necklace is:

Chapter 29: MENTAL.

hih, this was a nice day ^^ Work was a bit boring though because of a VERY quiet day :D The first five hours were just pathetic :DDD But after that we started to get an ok amount of buying customers.

And! I got a thick letter from my cousin! I was a bit excited 'cos I had no idea what she had sent to me :D When I opened the envelope, it had these inside it:

EYELASHES <3 I had such a good luck!! :D I only had one pair left 'cos I had broken all my eyelashes while being drunk -___-;; So now I have new ones! yay! I hope I won't break those too fast.. ARGH, I wish I would remember to take them off before I go to sleep/pass out -___-;; Ok, Last time I DID! ....but at my friend's neighbours' place, ages before going to bed. What the fuck, that made no sense at all!! XD

AND I LOVE MY SISTER!!!!! <3 Looooook what she's gonna buy me!

She ordered it today! I've been telling her (and you guys :D) How I need a new bag, and she told me that she can buy me one for my name day :D So, yesterday I was surfing in the Internet to find nice bags. A while ago I was checking out Demonia's catalogue and I noticed this Straitjacket bag there. I fell in love immediately 'cos I absolutely love straitjackets. So, while surfing, I found a shop that sells these bags!!! There were only 2 left in the stock so I told my sister to order it immediately. It's gonna be mine!!! sooooooooon! ....ish.

And talking about straitjackets, I have to show you guys my school project I made for RockJet in the beginning of this year. I got to design a jacket for them. My idea was to make a jacket that can be transformed into a straitjacket. It became so fucking cool <3

Chapter 26: I'm a skeleton!

hihih, look what I bought yesterday! ^^

Skeleton gloves! \o/ Aren't they cute? RockJet has had those gloves for a long time, but only with bright colors and black bones. I was disappointed 'cos I wanted ones that look "real", white in black. Anyway, yesterday I was derping in our stock and I found black and white ones!! yaaay ^^ 

They're not even that expensive! The original price is 4,90€, and with the staff discount they cost me only 3,50€ ^^

 

pfff... I'm sick, AGAIN! Ok now I'm feeling a bit better. But yesterday I I had to leave work after one hour 'cos my head was killing me and I was feeling nauseous... Oh well, at least I got to come to Seinäjoki earlier <3

But seriously, I'm starting to feel so embarrassed 'cos I've been away so much... Next week I have to go to Jyväskylä to take care of some things, and next weekend I'm gonna be in Hämeenlinna so I won't be able to work that Saturday either. After that week I have to be able to be 6 days at work >__< Otherwise I'll scream. loud.

This was a tough one to choose between homophobia and general stupidity, but I decided to choose the following:

yep... -___-;; People who are dumb in general and can't use COMMON SENSE. It really pisses me off. 

In my opinion it's better to know how to use common sense instead of having an IQ of 42592654. LOL I'm not that smart at all, in fact I have a terrible common knowledge (ok I DO know the answer to THAT question though XD), but that doesn't mean I'm a complete moron! Even though I can be a fucking freak, I still know how to behave in front of people and don't make a complete fool of myself. except when I'm drunk.

Now that I have been in the practical training in RockJet, the biggest thing that pisses me off are the customers who try to steal stuff... And not just gypsies, there many other people than just them. I just can't believe how people can be that stupid and RUDE. argh...

Chapter 24: Trousers' shopping

I bought new trousers today!! I own too few pants so I had to get some new ones. I still want to buy another pair, ones that are colorful! I saw cute pink jeans at H&M but they didn't have my size :< I WANT PINK JEANS!! I'm gonna go to my bf's this weekend so maybe I'll find something in Seinäjoki. I also want black mini shorts but I still haven't found any >__< aaaand I need a new bag!! argh.

Bleh, it's May 1st and I have no plans. I was kinda hoping that I could just sleep in and be lazy tomorrow, but my boss asked my to work tomorrow at the market. I decided to go 'cos he really needs help there and he's gonna pay me for it, so why not!

...the crappy part is that I have to be outside all day! I don't really like being outside, I'm always cold @___@ so, I just have to wear 326852 shirts and jackets so I won't freeze there. I also have to go to work by bike 'cos the bus traffic is very poor on holidays -___-;; I don't even remember when was the last time I rode a bike XD And I don't even know the route to the centre so well so... hehaaa. great...

Chapter 19: What a cheerful day this was!

hahahaha, my cheeks hurt, I've been laughing so much today! :D Nothing special, I just was in a very good mood! ^^

We got some new items at work today! Cosmic Clothing -shirts! I told you about the order earlier, I got to choose the shirts ^^ THEY*RE SO CUTE!!! I know I will spend some money next month, hehaaa. 

JUST LOOK AT THEM!!! I have to get the Killer Tomato and the Gozilla!!! And I want a third one as well but I haven't decided yet which one. iiiihh! <3 byebye money!

While we were organising the new clothes, we were listening 90's greatest hits XD Gosh, I love the pop- and electro dance -music from the 90's XD E-Type, Back Street Boys, Aqua, Spice Girls, Toy Box, N*Sync..... aaaahahahahah. Maybe that's why I have been so cheerful 'cos the songs are so happy XD Seriously, me and my friend were wondering that no wonder that young people are depressed nowadays 'cos songs are either about suicides and heart aches or "Oh yeah baby I'm gonna fuck you in the ass" -____-;; Oh those times... Even though I was very little XD

I was feeling like taking pictures in the morning so I decided to take a picture of my outfit of today ^^* 

I've made the corset and the skirt myself ^^ I really like making clothes! ...if I have a proper sewing machine. After I started studying clothing and fashion, I have got to sew with the industry sewing machines. Once you sew with them, you do NOT want to sew with a normal, lame home sewing machine... -___-;; I really have to buy one when I graduate.

(oh and, if someone is wondering the skirt's fabric and what's in it, it's a circus-theme fabric! It has clowns, giraffes and elephants in it! XD <3)

Chapter 13: Rat-washing!

Yay! Today I made my own rat tutorial, how to wash your rat and how to lotion its tail.

First, you have to make sure the water's temperature isn't too hot and neither too cold. You can test it with your wrist, so called "hand warmth" is good. When you put the rat to the water, the first reaction is usually to poop in the water. It's totally normal because they might be feeling a bit agitated about the water. Ada pooped A LOT XD More than usually. I think she was a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, poor thing... 

Some rats do like water though, it depends how well you introduce them to water when they're little. I didn't do it -___-;; I know I should have. 

You can use normal dish detergent to was your rats. Usually when I say to people that "I wash my babies with Fairy! 8D" They're like whaaaaat?? XD But it's true! Dish detergent or dog shampoo is the best, and guess which one is cheaper... It's very important to learn the correct grip, especially while putting the detergent to the fur. The rat is VERY slippery, so your grip must be firm, but not too tight.

The easiest way to rinse the rat is to put it directly under the tap. This may sound "cruel", but it's not :D The only negative thing is that you have to turn the rat on its back while rinsing its belly. Putting a rat on his back is dominating.

Drying is simple: just dry the rat with a towel first so you can get rid of most of the water. Then it's good to put her into a travel box, so they don't mess their wet fur in the cage.

Why is it important to wash and lotion the tail? Rat's tail is very sensitive, it gets dirty and dries very easily. It's good to use cotton pads. Just add a small amount of lotion to it, and lotion the tail. The pad collects the rest of the possible dirt.

And voilà! You rat is clean ^^

pffff... fucking great, I'm sick AGAIN. Yesterday my throat and head started to hurt. I was feeling a bit nauseaus as well. When I woke up this morning, I was feeling so dead... The pain in my throat was unbearable, and the nausea was first. I was afraid that I'm gonna throw up, but luckily I didn't @___@ The shittiest part is that I had planned to go to work today!! I've been at work only on two days this week... fuck. oh well, I hope I will be healthy next week!!

mmmm, there's a Johnny Depp -movie on TV! Public Enemies. I haven't seen it actually o__O It's a movie I wouldn't normally watch, but because it has Johnny Depp in it, I have to!! He's my favourite actor, I absolutely love him and his movies. I collect them, at the moment I have 23 movies of his. I have to get them aaaaalll! @___@ damn, so many movies I have to buy...

I've been lusting more wall flags, and today at work I found one: Slipknot! <3 Again :D I already have a Slipknot wall flag, but now I got another one! Let's see if I'm able to fit it in my room or not XD Or then I'll tri to find one more and make them my curtains O__O <3 fuck yeah. That's my plan when I go back to Jyväskylä after summer!

oh and, I'm feeling very proud atm :D My boss was ordering new clothes from Cosmic Clothes today, it's a brand with "horror cute" shirts, a bit like Cupcake Cult and Heartless, but a bit more cute :D Anyway, he let ME decide what he should order, he said: "You decide, you're the expert!" muahahahaaaa! I'm the horror shirt expert 8DDD *proud*

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any pictures of Cosmic Clothing -shirts o__o They must be very new, I couldn't find ANYTHING related to them on the internet. booo. My blog post almost became perfect -___-;; Oh well, Cupcake Cult is a better brand anyway :DDD
