Wedding gift no. 2: Crocheted baby sneakers

Here are the crocheted baby sneakers I have made! 

The instructions I used are in Finnish, again, but I bet there are many instructions for these in English as well! I'm gonna link the instructions anyway 'cos I have Finnish readers as well :D You can read them here. 

Once again, I had to adapt the instructions a little, 'cos I used different kind of yarn etc... The yarns I used were wool (black) and acryl (white). If you make these, I suggest you use cotton yarn, because it will make the sneakers more stiff. Because of my wool and acryl yarns, the sneakers became very soft, so they're more like socks :D I they still turned out good, I think :D

Oh and :D A funny thing happened. I just uploaded all the wedding gift photos to my Facebook-page, and I immediately got three orders :DDD Two beanies (see the previous post) and one dungaree (you'll see later ^^)! So, if you know someone who has a baby and would like to buy handmade clothes or toys, just let me know! I'd be happy to make them for sale ^^

Wedding gift no. 1: Baby beanie with a tuft

Here is the first crochet craft I'm gonna show you: a baby beanie with a tuft. 

I wanted to make a soft, warm beanie 'cos my nephew/niece will be born in December, so it's gonna be cold then. Tiny head must be warm <3

At first I tried to make the hat by using these instructions (in Finnish, sorry), but I just couldn't make it work @___@ I had different kind of yarn and different sized hook, so the measurements were fucked up all the time, so in the end I decided to make it my own way. At first I had tried to start crocheting from the top of the hat, which didn't work, so when I started crocheting from the lower end and made everything "in reverse", the hat turned out fine :D 

The yarn I used is called Novita Usva, and the hook was 3 or 4mm. I'm sorry, I can't remember which one, I made the hat ages ago XD But I think it was 3mm o_O The yarn was thick, so I I wanted to use a smaller hook to make the hat firm.

I think it looks pretty cute :D I just hope it fits o___O As I'm working in a children's clothing store atm, I have learned that some babies' heads can be enormous XDD Oh well, we'll see :D

Damn, it's been over a month since I've written here! Sorryyy >____< I've been very busy and tired and all kinds of shit, so I haven't found the energy to write, even though I have had many things to say/show you :D There was my sister's wedding, I have shopped and received new lovely stuff, and I can finally show you the baby crafts I made for my sister and her husband as a wedding gift! ^^ Also, my internship started this month and I've been to job interviews ^^

There's no way I'm gonna post all of those things this time, you'll get bored 'cos the post would be HUGE XD I haven't received all the pictures of the wedding, so I can't make a proper wedding post yet, but I have a couple of pictures to show you :D I know I promised to show you my whole outfit, but goddammit, I forgot to take pictures -______-;; I hope my father or the photographer have been good paparazzis then :DDD

It was fun though XD But I can't dance that well XD It was the basic waltz, so it was fine :DD The bad thing was, my feet were killing me and my dress just wouldn't stay up >_____< I was pulling it up the entire evening which was VERY annoying :DDDD If I'm going to use it as a graduation dress next year, I'm gonna make straps on it -________-;;; Anyway, you can see some of my outfit here, I just hate how shaky the pictures are... :<

Colorful crochet hooks!

Finally I bought them, the colorful crochet hooks I've been drooling for a while now! Look how cute they are!!

The sizes of the hooks are pretty big, 5,6,7,8 and 10 (mm), so they are planned for bigger and thicker projects. I've been thinking about crocheting carpets! I got the idea from my friend who said that she would also like to start crocheting, by making carpets. I have no place to put them yet though, so I think I'm gonna wait until next spring when I move out this tiny shithole, to (hopefully) live together with my boyfriend! <3

I finished one baby-project again <3 I have crocheted.... *counts* 5 presents for my future nephew/niece now! :DDD three more presents to come ^^ after that I could crochet something for myself as well :D and I should also bring my Etsy-shop back to life, I only have one product there atm >___<

Shopping with mah mothurrrrrrr

hih, mommy bought me things! *-* ....although I feel a bit bad 'cos I don't have money to buy things myself. She wants to spoil me now 'cos she has earned so much at work :D sooo, I guess that's nice :DD We were supposed to only to go a grocery store and to look for a pair of some cheap shoes for me (I forgot to take heels with me and my sister's bachelorette party is on Saturday so I don't want to wear sneakers there :D), but the things got a bit out of hands XDDD She spent about 75€ on me .___. this is what I got in total:

I found these shorts in Seppälä. I only have one pair of shorts, I was in a need of more. It was very nice that I found these, I think they look nice :D There also were these bright pink shorts with leopard pattern. WHY. Why not tiger/zebra pattern ;____; I hate leopard pattern... There's no way I'm gonna wear it, ever :D So, I had to leave them to the shop. I just don't understand what people see in leopard pattern, it's so ugly in clothes @___@ Zebra stripes are waaaay better <3 And snake pattern, heeheee <3

These ones are also from Seppälä. My previous "chicken filets" wore out, so I need new ones for the wedding. And for my sister's bachelorette party as well 'cos the dress I'm gonna wear there is also strapless :D I also had to buy new "party" eyelashes 'cos our cat played with one pair of mine and lost (or ate -___-;; ) the other one...... I felt so annoyed!! :D Oh well, it was my own fault 'cos I had left them on the table, meh..

And then, the things we went to look for XD The shoes! We found these in a big grocery store, CityMarket, woohoo XD I think they're pretty cute, not the shoes of my dreams, but ok. I saw a lovely pair in another store, but my mum refused to buy them for me XD They were a bit too high, I would have had to practise a bit :D But the main reason why she didn't buy then was this: "There's no way I'm gonna buy you those! You're gonna break your ankles when you're drunk!"

She's right, fuck my life...
The heels of these shoes are 8cm high, I've noticed that my maximum heel height is 10cm :DD

Last but not least: nomnoms for my rattie-girls!! <3 I'm gonna give them these the next time I go visit them, which will be next week, I hope! They are so colorful! XDD ...which mans they are veeeeery unhealthy. But oh well, it's nice to eat treats every now and then :D

Alcohol fueled bridesmaid's shoes

Yay! I found perfect shoes for my sister's wedding! I bet they will look very good with the dress <3

Aren't they pretty?? *-* I bought then from KooKenkä in Jyväskylä, hey cost 50€ which is not so bad, I think. I can't wait for the dress to arrive so I can see how they look together <3

Lol btw, I laughed my ass off the other day. I hadn't received any shipping confirmation email of my dress, so I sent an email to the seller just to ask if my dress had been shipped or not. S/he answered very fast, which was very nice, but the English of the message was just pathetic XDDD The message was like this:

"Hello my friend,

Thank you for contacting me, I am very grateful,

Yes, I sent out dress to give you, you will on next week inside receive it, what we use is a DHL to send out, it is a quick service, therefore, you can receive it on next week, please don't worry."

Hahahahaha, the message was so cute :D The seller is Chinese so.. I understand that the English may not be that great. But I'm very pleased that they have sent me the dress and that it should arrive very fast.

My dad got this originally from his friend, but as soon as my mum saw this, she hid it from my dad so he couldn't wear it XDDD She has done that a lot, hahahahah. So, I gave the shirt a new home *-* The size is HUGE, so I thought that I'm able to wear it only as a "night gown", but when I tried it on, I realized that it's not that bad. T-shirts are meant to be loose, and the fabric goes down pretty well so it doesn't look like a big-ass tent :DD mmmm. Me gusta my new shirt *-*

hmmm, what else is new? Nothing much. I went to see my baby girls on Thursday, I had missed them so much ;;____;; They had not forgotten about me <3 When we took them outside, Ada was sitting on my lap almost all the time <3 Adele was also hiding inside my shirt every now and then :DD Also, my boyfriend visited me last weekend. It was nice <3 Except that I didn't sleep well at all 'cos my bed is too small for two people and I get agitated if someone is sleeping very close to me, even if it's my own bf XDD I NEED MY SPACE! @___@

On Saturday I went to sell some clothes to a rock N roll flea market! I have so many emo clothes that I don't wear anymore so I thought that this would be a good way to get rid of them. Well... it wasn't XD I only sold two CDs, one skirt and one shirt. The people there were mostly metal heads or 80's inspired rockers, so they didn't find any use for my clothes. But it's ok, I really enjoyed being there!! I just love selling clothes and advising people with them *-* Also, the flea market was open only for three hours, so maybe I could have sold more clothes if it had been open for the whole day. I earned 8€ !! XDDD epic. Actually, I earned 13€ but the selling table cost 5€ :D

After the flea market, me and my boyfriend went to Amarillo to eat. I just love that restaurant so much *___* Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the foods 'cos I was so goddamn hungry I just dig straight in XD But trust me, it was good. Whiskey corn for starters, garlic chicken with red wine sauce for main course, and nut-chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert <3 great, now I'm lusting for Amarillo's food again... .___.

Also, I've shopped again! oops :D I bought my bridesmaid-dress for my sister's wedding! I'm not gonna show it to you yet 'cos it haven't arrived. I ordered it from eBay, I hope they will ship me the right and fitting dress :DD I have always had good experiences with shopping on eBay, but you never know :DD We will see. Today I also bought a shitload of barbells for my tongue!!  I can't wait to get rid of this original barbell, it's so long @__@ It bothers me, big time. Argh.

Ok, now I'm stressed... I just made a list of all the school assignments that need to be done during the next four days. 9 not-so-little assignments, and they should be done by Sunday..... ;____; I DON*T WANNA. I should be doing:

Another thing that annoys me is that I used all of my eyebrow-pencil a couple of days ago and I didn't have time to buy a new one until today. So I had to draw my eyebrows with black pencil, which does NOT look good with blonde hair... But I didn't feel like looking like an alien either -___-;; So, I pretty much looked like a retarded Lady Gaga -wannabe the last two days. \o/ But luckily I got to buy a new one today.

I tried to draw them light so they wouldn't look that bad >__<

And! I got a package from my sister today! WITH A GRUMPY CAT DRINKING GLASS INSIDE. It's so cuuuuuuuuuute!! I love Grumpy Cat. So much ;;_________;; <3 The text in the glass says "The worst thing after waking up? Everything until I go to bed again." My sister told me that the picture reminded her of me so she had to buy it XDDD She's so right, lol.

Chapter 29: MENTAL.

hih, this was a nice day ^^ Work was a bit boring though because of a VERY quiet day :D The first five hours were just pathetic :DDD But after that we started to get an ok amount of buying customers.

And! I got a thick letter from my cousin! I was a bit excited 'cos I had no idea what she had sent to me :D When I opened the envelope, it had these inside it:

EYELASHES <3 I had such a good luck!! :D I only had one pair left 'cos I had broken all my eyelashes while being drunk -___-;; So now I have new ones! yay! I hope I won't break those too fast.. ARGH, I wish I would remember to take them off before I go to sleep/pass out -___-;; Ok, Last time I DID! ....but at my friend's neighbours' place, ages before going to bed. What the fuck, that made no sense at all!! XD

She ordered it today! I've been telling her (and you guys :D) How I need a new bag, and she told me that she can buy me one for my name day :D So, yesterday I was surfing in the Internet to find nice bags. A while ago I was checking out Demonia's catalogue and I noticed this Straitjacket bag there. I fell in love immediately 'cos I absolutely love straitjackets. So, while surfing, I found a shop that sells these bags!!! There were only 2 left in the stock so I told my sister to order it immediately. It's gonna be mine!!! sooooooooon! ....ish.

And talking about straitjackets, I have to show you guys my school project I made for RockJet in the beginning of this year. I got to design a jacket for them. My idea was to make a jacket that can be transformed into a straitjacket. It became so fucking cool <3
